Lachlan's school sports Carnival 2nd June 09

The kids have a very long morning. First they did mini games in the middle of the oval. Lachlan having fun doing the sack relay race,lol, amazingly he didn't trip over.

And in between the sitting on they butts and doing nothing but watch the older kids they did races. Here's Kyle running his race, 80m I think it was, Sorry I don't know what place he came but he ran a good race.

And here comes Lachlan in his 80m race, second one in from the left in the fluro Green. He's way ahead of the others till near the end he slowed to see where they all were.

But he still won, just, and he was so proud of himself for it too. My little athlete, I always knew he'd be a winner, lol. Byast I know.

And then they did relay batton races before lunch. They were meant to do ball games after lunch and finish at 130 but I decided to take him home.



CAMPING AT THE CAUSEWAY with Jodie, Mick and boys

The boys couldn't resist hoping round on the rocks.

Here's Jack jumping right into it.


And Jamie having a go too. It was like follow the leader, one does it so they all do it.

Even if it means risking falling in off the slippery rocks, like lacho did here.

Kyle decided to take the safe way out and just sat back and watched,

much to Jodie's dismay,lol.

Mum had a word so he decided he'd better look like he was getting in on it.

I thaught he was being smart actually.

Mr Pelican decided to drop in too and the kids followed him along the edge, too bad he flew away




Little Miss Ella decided to do more girl things like con Mick and Jodie into walking with her

And of course swinging her too, suckers,lol.
I think they were all having fun though not just Ella.

This is our dog Jack whome we had to take camping with us. I was dreading it thinking he'd bark the whole time but he was so good, only grumbling at ppl walking past and Barking at afew possums. He even slept outside the tent no dramas.


7th June 2009


This morning the older boys were told they could go out in the boat fishing if they helped with the washing up. Jack was helping in the hope he'd be able to go too but the plan was that he and Jamie go in the afternoon, so that's the way it was.

They were such a big help, saved Jodie and I doing it anyway. One washed and two dried and put away, good team work boys.

Jamie of course took the lazy mans way out. Sit on his ass and watch,lol. that's my boy.

While the big boys were out in the boat Jodie and I hired a paddle boat and took the littlies across the causeway,we paddled the whole way and back. No pics of that as was scared the camera might get wet.


When the littlies were out in the boat we hired a paddle boat for lacho and Kyle. Here they are having a ball. Lucky we only hired for 30mins, they were over it after 20.

All in all we had a fantastic weekend and so did the kids. I hope we can do it again real soon guys, we had a blast.

Our May Issue Is Here

4th May 2009, fishing in the boat

The day was beautiful so we thaught a trip in the boat sounded great. We went to Fitzroy river just up from the bridge. Here's what Ella did almost the whole time we were out, ate. She just loves being out in the boat as we all do.

And then there's Lachlan who fished the whole time. He's our little fisherman, the only one who catches the fish, much to Joe's discust.

Jamie was all about playing with the bait and the squishy fish,lol. But what ever makes him happy I guess.

Joe decided to let the kids try have a go at steering, I missed a shot of Jamie but here's Lachlan. He thaught he was so good having a go and he did really well too.


GIRL POWER. Whatever they can do I can do too, says Ella as she struggles to reach the stearing stick to give it a go,LOL.

This is the fish that my little fisherman caught. He was legan just I think but we put him back anyway.

29th May

Unders 8's day in the Park

Jamie, Ella and I went to the play in the park with Jodie and Jack. At first the boys didn't want to get in and do anything but us being mean made them. They had fun, and we went to the playground after.



Looks like Jodie had just as much fun as the kids did,LOL. God I love being the photo taker. heck out the concerntration and all their faces.

All this hard work deserves a reward right, Snack time for everyone.

Ella spotted a balloon floating away way up high and wanted me to go get it for her,lol, not happening darling sorry. What a little cutie.


Jamie was very proud of his little clay creation, it was very good so he decided to keep it instead of putting it on their display table.

ELLA'S 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY

My Little Princess

24/04/2009- Ella and I had a lovely day Wednesday baking her cake and making sausages rolls and not to mension the mess. Hoe cute is the Apron I got her too with a matching teatowel. LOL

And here it is, the finished product, after 2hours baking 1 hour cooling and about 3 hours decorating, here you have the most loved birthday cake eva. oh and don't forget about 1 hour of painting the horses. No I don't have too much time on my hands,lol, most of this was done in MY TIME at night. The things we do for our kids.

Here she is opening her pressie's, she didn't know what to do. As she opened everything she said thankyou to everyone, it was so cute.

This face is the reason I put so much work into the cake and the prep of the party. It's the"WOW is this for me" kindda look, so cute.

We all know the song yeah? and how true is it,lol.
After the party and a sleep we all went up to Craig and Trish's as their leaving to Springshaw on Friday so thaught we'd go spend time with them before they do go.

Here's Vanessa eating chips, this girl does nothing but eat,lol.

My three amigos being silly, as per usual.

"ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah bring it on" say's Ella. " awww come on, I'm old enough now ain't I?"

April 13th, On The Farm Here's the kids having fun with grandad in the backhoe on grandads farm. They all had a ball driving round in the mudddddd.

April 12th, Wellington Point


Lachlan doing what he does best, getting down and dirty. He wasn't allowed in the water becase of an Ear infection so he had to do something.

April 17th, Mike and Denise's Wedding


And here they are, all spruced up and ready to go, The Pageboys. LOL aren't they just so cute all dressed up.

Lachlan was as pleased as punch and proud to be one of the centres of attention. Does this suprise anyone???Nooooooooo LOL

And little Ella looked gorgeous to, even though she had a bunged up nose thanks to her biggest brother Lachlan.

Very smart and ready to go. I think Jamie was starting to get nervous now as he'd just seen how many ppl were there.
